Characters you have in the game: N/A

Character Name: Skeletor
Character Canon: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. 2002 reboot.
Canon Background: Right here. He’s taken from the Mike Young Productions series so you’ll have to scroll down a bit to find it.
Omegafriends Background: Little has changed of Keldor’s story from canon to the Omegafriends universe. Keldor was once a powerful and feared warlord native to the world Infinitia, a world of both mystical power and scientific wonders. Always seeking more ways to increase his own power and influence, Keldor studied both arts obsessively and became both a powerful sorcerer and developed a keen mind for technology and science.
One day, when he had gathered enough power and allies, Keldor launched an assault on the royal palace of Infinitia itself, intending to take full control of the world and all its riches and power. However, he had become too arrogant and misjudged the strength of Infinitia’s defenders and was defeated. Grievously injured, and at the precipice of defeat, Keldor used a forbidden art of magic and tore open a portal between dimensions to escape. It was there, in the void between worlds that Keldor found something.
What exactly happened in the void remains a mystery, but whispers tell of a bargain struck between Keldor and some great, primordial darkness. Life and even greater power and, in exchange, when the time is right Keldor will free this darkness from its imprisonment and allow it to sweep across the multiverse.
And so Skeletor was born. The Lord of Destruction, risen from the ashes of Keldor.
Since that day, Skeletor has lived as a sort of nomad between worlds appearing on new realms to gather power and servants to his side, and leaving destruction in his wake. Now, he’s set his sights on Earth and a new ancient power to claim for his own.
And only the Omegafriends stand in his way.
Personality: If pure evil truly exists in the world, then Skeletor is it. Malicious, cruel, greedy and spiteful, Skeletor is evil on the both the most grandiose and world-conquering levels to the smallest and pettiest levels. Any redeeming qualities that a man as power-hungry as Keldor may have had were burned out of him entirely the day he became Skeletor.
Even as a human, Keldor’s drive and ambition for power and conquest new few bounds. No matter how much he gained, he always hungered for more. Now as Skeletor that same drive has become all-consuming. He cares for nobody and nothing but his own boundless lust for greater and greater power. There are no lines he will not cross in this pursuit, no consequences too great and no acts too vile. Everybody around him is either a pawn to be used, or a hindrance to be dealt with and nothing more. Treachery, deceit, hostages, all of these are merely means to an end to what he considers to be his ultimate destiny of ruling the entire cosmos with an iron fist. Only then will he be satisfied.
While his cruelty and evil are his foremost traits, he is also exceedingly cunning. While he typically rules through a policy of fear and intimidation, he’s also aware of when a more subtle approach is necessary. He’s quick to make rewards and promises of sharing in his power, even if they are false ones. He’s cunning and manipulative and while his main tactic is to bully others into servitude, he’s quite capable of wielding a silver tongue when it suits his needs. Despite that, his power-mad nature will quickly reassert itself and make any partnerships with him doomed to be very short-lived indeed.
Still, Skeletor suffers from the same weakness that all great villains seem to share: arrogance. In his mind, he’s already the lord and master of everything and claiming that title is merely a formality. This means he tends to underestimate his enemies and overlook small details that inevitably lead to his defeat, especially when he senses his drawing near. He also has a hideously bad temper and is prone to flying into rages and dealing out severe punishments for failure. In other words, he’s a terrible boss.
Completely lacking in empathy, compassion, or humanity, Skeletor is assuredly a tremendous threat not only to Venture City but the entire planet. He is a man who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals, who will gladly see the world turned to ash.
So long as he and he alone sits on the throne of it.
Powers: Not much has changed from canon. Keldor was a powerful sorcerer and Skeletor retains all his skill but with his power magnified tenfold. His primary weapon of choice is the Havoc Staff, a powerful artifact and weapon of great destructive power. Skeletor’s magic can split the Earth, rain down destruction, fire blasts of power, allow him to levitate create barriers and cast curses and enchantments on his enemies. He can also command the Staff telekinetically to fire blasts remotely and even fly through the air to strike his enemies. In fact, a favored tactic of his is to let his enemy think they’ve disarmed him only to order the Staff to strike from behind.
He’s also quite well-versed in science. He isn’t a master inventor or builder (he has Tri-Klops for that) but he has the knowledge to make use of technology, even combining it with his magic to create even more potent devices than either alone could.
On the more mundane side, he’s also a skilled and fierce warrior. When not using his staff, his has a heavy double-bladed sword that can split into two smaller single-edged blades that he wields with startling proficiency. These swords also serve as a conduit for his magic but not as effectively as the Havoc Staff. Backing this up is the superhuman strength and agility common to all people of his native world and which has been similarly increased by the power given to him. Skeletor can leap dozens of feet into the air without help, split solid stone with his blades and is quite a match for any superpowered opponent he might end up facing.
Sample: Skeletor murders a fairy like a badass. Test Drive link.
Notes: Should he be accepted I’ll also be joining with [personal profile] evil_warriors
which is my NPC account for his goon squad. If you like, I’ll do a quick write-up of them as well to include in that journal.
